PACS FOOD BANK

Each month our church donates food and personal items for the hungry and those in need for the area Food Bank.  We can always use your donations.

BULLETIN AND NEWSLETTER MINISTRY ( Temporarily on hold due to Covid-19 )

Every Friday, volunteers help fold the bulletins in Leiby Parlor.  On the last Friday of the month, we fold the newsletter.  Feel free to join us for folding, fellowship, and laughter!

 

PROJECT LINUS

Twice a month our sewers gather to make blankets for seriously ill, and traumatized children.  Please contact Jane Levengood (484-343-2500) if you are interested in participating! 

BIBLE STUDY
every Wednesday at 11:00am in Leiby Chapel, we meet for Bible Study. 


MUSICAL MINISTRY ( Temporarily on hold due to Covid-19 )
We have two Choirs that perform during the year. During the summer months, the choirs take a break. 

We welcome anyone who would like to come out and sing, or play an instrument, and even play the bells or chimes. 

  • Bell Choir meets Thursdays at 6:30pm 

  • Chancel Choir meets Thursdays at 7:30pm

  • We also offer many other opportunities to play and sing throughout the year.

ST. MARY'S SHELTER

At various times in the year our church donates meals for homeless families that live at St. Mary's Franciscan Shelter in Phoenixville.  Please call the church if you are interested in helping.

RELAY FOR LIFE

Throughout the year, St. John's UCC is active and takes a lead in raising money and awareness for those suffering and surviving cancer, in the hope that a cure will one day be found.    Please contact the office if you are interested in joining the team.

PUB THEOLOGY

Pub Theology is taking a break.  We will be resuming our gatherings in the near future.

PRAYER CHAIN

St. John's UCC has an active prayer chain for those in need.

Rise Against Hunger - in 2019 St. John's packed over 10,000 meals for the world's hungry and raised over $3,400,00 for this effort.

During Advent we sponsor animals through a Living Gift Market as part of Heifer International's ministry to help people out of poverty in third world countries.
